About
Paintings that appear after school.
Vincas Šačkus is nine and lives in Vilnius. He has been painting since he learned to hold a brush: first on paper, now on canvas too. Most often in acrylic, sometimes in watercolour, when he wants the colours thinner.
He is also a partner at Hold My Company, his dad’s two-person company, where his title is Chief Questions Officer. His job there is to ask the questions nobody else will, and they are usually the most important ones. He paints the same way: curious, direct, unafraid.
This page came about simply: there were more paintings at home than fit on the walls. So some of them are looking for new homes. Every piece is unique, and we make no copies.
On this site the works are shown at their true relative sizes. If one painting looks bigger than another, it really is.
The money from sold works goes into Vincas’s paint and canvas fund. And a little into the piggy bank.
